Fun Stuff:

Walt Disney World Florida

What You Can Expect at Walt Disney
World Florida

here's a whole world of fun and fantasy waiting for you and your family at Walt Disney World Florida. Each year, millions upon millions of tourists from every corner of the world descend upon central Florida and the greater Orlando area to enjoy the vacation of a lifetime with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and the gang.

Probably one of the most impressive aspects of a vacation at Walt Disney World Florida is the friendly service provided to visitors by Disney World's "cast", which is how the company refers to its employees. Trained at Disney University, the folks who work at Walt Disney World Florida are among the finest hospitality employees in the world, seeing to your every comfort, greeting you with a smile, and always eager to offer their knowledge of Disney history or trivia, from the minute you step out of the car until that last goodbye wave. No matter how frustrating their day has been, you're sure to be treated politely by the cast at Walt Disney World Florida.

This vacation resort is really one of the world's most people-oriented destinations and the staff sees to it that everyone has fun. The resort offers plenty to see and do for visitors of all ages. Everyone will, of course, be thrilled with visits to each of Walt Disney World Florida's four theme parks - The Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, MGM Studios, and Animal Kingdom. Your age, however, might determine your favorite park. Adults tend to enjoy the fascinating World Showcase in EPCOT whereas younger children tend towards the traditional Disney attractions at the Magic Kingdom. Mature visitors might choose dinner at EPCOT's Alfredo's of Rome while the children would opt for a deluxe hot dog at that Sunset Ranch Market near the Tower of Terror or dinner at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater.

Multi-generational fun at Walt Disney World Florida extends far beyond the parks. Certain Disney resorts also appeal to different age groups, depending largely upon the appointments, amenities, and attractions available at each. If you're a vacationing adult looking for an elegant hotel experience in Walt Disney World Florida, you'll probably choose the Grand Floridian - where you can indulge in extravagant meals and pampering spa treatments - or the Polynesian Resort, where guests can join in a fascinating luau experience or take a stroll down romantic Tiki torch-lit paths. Kids might opt for something a bit more casual, like the All-Star Resorts with their fast-food "food courts" or the Beach Club, with its sandy-bottomed pool and fun water slides.

Walt Disney World Florida also offers activities for everyone, including golf for the adults and watersports that just about everyone will enjoy, including waterskiing, boat rentals, sailing, swimming, and more. Mature visitors can party all night long at Pleasure Island while the kids may want to check out the cool games at DisneyQuest. Whatever you choose, you can be certain that visitors from all generations will be sure to find plenty to fill their warm and sunny days in Walt Disney World Florida.

Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide

A few people have asked me about Beth Haworth's book "Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide", and were wondering what my take on it was. Given my reputation as a well known writer on the topic of Disney World, they thought I could give a fairly honest review.

So I clicked on over to Beth's website and snatched a copy for $30. I sat down and read it from "cover-to-cover" immediately.

Now keep in mind I already have extensive notes on saving money in Disney World, and I already have a pretty good list of the best hotels and restaurants. So I wasn't really sure what to expect.

But this book really impressed me.

It was well written, easy to read, and very comprehensive. The book was jam-packed with tips and inside information about places to go, things to see, the best attractions, restaurants, hotels... you name it, it's in there. It was also consistent with all of the things I already figured out from my own vacationing, and it also gave me some great new tips and tricks.

So now, I can finally give an honest recommendation for this book. I really loved it and it was worth every penny. The tips in the book allowed me to save about $550 dollars on my last weekend getaway.

You can grab a copy of Beth's Guide for only $30. It's available on her website and can be downloaded immediately. It's highly recommended for anyone who is interested in travelling to Disney. Even if you only on intend on going to Disney World once, it will not only save you time and money, it will also make your experience much more enjoyable.

Whatever you decide, be safe and most of all, enjoy your trip!
