Disney Toys
There's a Wonderful Selection
of Disney Toys for Kids of All Ages

fter you've visited Walt Disney World or any of the other Disney
parks, you can take the fun of Disney home with you. For years, the folks at Disney have been producing Disney toys of all shapes and sizes
for fans of all ages, from babies to adults, and nearly every household in American (and many in other countries) boasts at least one Disney
toy - and probably several.
Many traditional toys for babies and toddlers come in Disney themes. Disney toys such as mobiles, crib gyms, rattles, fun items which improve motor skills, and small plush animals designed to be safe for babies, can be found in the likeness of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and many of the other most popular Disney characters.
As children progress in age, there are even more Disney toys available for them to enjoy. Dolls are quite popular with little girls. Eleven-inch fashion dolls dressed like the Disney princesses are favorites. You'll find dolls that look like Belle, Jasmine, Ariel, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and plenty of other famous Disney ladies. The princesses can be found on a myriad of other Disney toys as well from bikes and scooters to make-believe fashion accessories.
Boys will love Disney action figures and vehicles. These Disney toys, like Buzz Lightyear and his rocket ship, will provide hours of imaginative play for the little boy in your life. When new Disney movies are released, you'll often find new action figures on the market.
Of course, plush Disney toys are among everyone's favorite. Disney stores at the theme parks and in malls worldwide are teeming with all sorts of plush Disney characters, from old favorites like Mickey and Winnie the Pooh to more contemporary characters like Lilo and Stitch or the characters from Chicken Little. Plush come in all shapes and sizes and many Disney fanatics have become avid collectors of Disney plush. Some stuffed animals are designed especially for little children - with eyes, noses, and accessories that aren't removable so as to prevent choking incidents.
Disney toys are also found in the educational realm. Both Leap Frog and Fisher-Price produce Disney toys that help children learn about the world around them or that teach fundamentals of school subjects like math, spelling, and reading. Educational Disney toys are most often designed for pre-school students and early elementary-aged children and kids will love learning along with their favorite Disney characters.
Other popular Disney toys include board games. Some are designed with the theme parks in mind, like Disney Monopoly. Others concentrate on the Disney characters. Check out Disney Scene It, a new interactive board game that makes use of your DVD player so that you can view scenes from movies and TV and answer Disney trivia questions during the game.
It isn't difficult to find Disney toys. Most large chain toy stores carry many such toys but, by far, the best selection will be found at the stores located in the Disney theme parks, such as the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney Florida. With 12 rooms full of Disney fun, this store sells just about any Disney toy on the market!
Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide
A few people have asked me about Beth Haworth's book "Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide", and were wondering what my take on it was. Given my reputation as a well known writer on the topic of Disney World, they thought I could give a fairly honest review.
So I clicked on over to Beth's website and snatched a copy for $30. I sat down and read it from "cover-to-cover" immediately.
Now keep in mind I already have extensive notes on saving money in Disney World, and I already have a pretty good list of the best hotels and restaurants. So I wasn't really sure what to expect.
But this book really impressed me.
It was well written, easy to read, and very comprehensive. The book was jam-packed with tips and inside information about places to go, things to see, the best attractions, restaurants, hotels... you name it, it's in there. It was also consistent with all of the things I already figured out from my own vacationing, and it also gave me some great new tips and tricks.
So now, I can finally give an honest recommendation for this book. I really loved it and it was worth every penny. The tips in the book allowed me to save about $550 dollars on my last weekend getaway.
You can grab a copy of Beth's Guide for only $30. It's available on her website and can be downloaded immediately. It's highly recommended for anyone who is interested in travelling to Disney. Even if you only on intend on going to Disney World once, it will not only save you time and money, it will also make your experience much more enjoyable.
Whatever you decide, be safe and most of all, enjoy your trip!
