Tips for Getting Your Disney Tickets
Quickly and Easily

here are so many things to think about when planning a trip to American's premiere vacation destination…Walt Disney World in Florida. Most travelers consider airfare and accommodations first, and then proceed to attending to the little details. When traveling to Mickey's central Florida home, what kind of Disney tickets to purchase should be an important consideration for all vacationers.

Disney tickets come in all shapes and sizes, so to speak. There is such a variety of ticket options from which to choose that it can become quite confusing for the consumer. When Disney World first opened, everyone got a book of tickets labeled with letters A to E, corresponding to various rides in the park. Since that time, Disney tickets have become much more complex.

Disney recently introduced the Magic Your Way ticket program, which allows you to custom design your ticket purchases to correspond with your itinerary. Disney tickets are available for a variety of lengths of stay - from 1 day to 10 days. Guests may choose a "base" ticket, which includes admission to only one park at a time - Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, MGM Studios, or Animal Kingdom. If you have just one particular park you wish to visit on your next stay in Disney World, the base ticket is right for you.

However, most purchasers of Disney tickets choose the Park Hopper option. That allows you to travel from park to park at your leisure. So, if you wish to spend the morning at the Magic Kingdom, return to your hotel for lunch, and then head to EPCOT, you can do that with a Park Hopper ticket. This type of ticket provides the ultimate in flexibility, especially for families traveling with small children who may need a little variety to keep them interested.

Disney tickets can also be purchased with a Water Park Fun and More option. This allows guests to visit other Disney attractions, such as Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon, Disney's incredible waterparks. Also included as part of this ticket is the opportunity to head to Disney Quest, Pleasure Island, and Disney's Wide World of Sports complex to enjoy some of the many activities featured there.

Most Disney tickets expire 14 days after the first use, but a no expiration option is now available for those who plan on returning soon. When purchasing tickets, be sure to investigate this option if it fits your traveling needs.

Purchasing Disney tickets at the gate after you arrive in Walt Disney World is the most expensive way of securing admission tickets. There are many discount Disney ticket deals available on the internet, both from Disney itself and from non-Disney ticket brokers. Wherever you choose to purchase, remember that advanced purchase will always save you money on Disney tickets.

Before making a final decision on Disney tickets, be sure to read all the specifics carefully so that you're purchasing the right ticket for your vacation needs. Check for hidden added expenses, such as exorbitant shipping costs or taxes. Be sure that your purchase of online tickets doesn't come with a catch - such as the need to sit through a timeshare presentation before you can secure the tickets.

Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide

A few people have asked me about Beth Haworth's book "Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide", and were wondering what my take on it was. Given my reputation as a well known writer on the topic of Disney World, they thought I could give a fairly honest review.

So I clicked on over to Beth's website and snatched a copy for $30. I sat down and read it from "cover-to-cover" immediately.

Now keep in mind I already have extensive notes on saving money in Disney World, and I already have a pretty good list of the best hotels and restaurants. So I wasn't really sure what to expect.

But this book really impressed me.

It was well written, easy to read, and very comprehensive. The book was jam-packed with tips and inside information about places to go, things to see, the best attractions, restaurants, hotels... you name it, it's in there. It was also consistent with all of the things I already figured out from my own vacationing, and it also gave me some great new tips and tricks.

So now, I can finally give an honest recommendation for this book. I really loved it and it was worth every penny. The tips in the book allowed me to save about $550 dollars on my last weekend getaway.

You can grab a copy of Beth's Guide for only $30. It's available on her website and can be downloaded immediately. It's highly recommended for anyone who is interested in travelling to Disney. Even if you only on intend on going to Disney World once, it will not only save you time and money, it will also make your experience much more enjoyable.

Whatever you decide, be safe and most of all, enjoy your trip!
