Some Great Disney Games Everone Should
Try at Least Once

ids and adults alike have enjoyed the world of Disney for decades. While visiting the Disney theme parks is the ultimate Disney
adventure, many enjoy the Disney magic all year round by playing the large assortment of Disney games available for all ages.
Disney games help bring home the whimsy of that trip to Walt Disney World and Disney games are always fun and appropriate for children.
Who doesn't love a good board game, especially one that the kids will enjoy? Disney games include a large number of board games, some appropriate for very young children. Many popular, traditional board games boast "Disney editions" such as Sorry, Scrabble Junior, Dominoes, and Memory. Even adults can join in on the fun, playing Disney game editions of Trivial Pursuit and Monopoly.
Newer Disney games you can play at home might involve the use of your DVD player. Check out Disney DVD Bingo and Disney Scene It.
So many children and adults own handheld electronic games - like Gameboy Advanced - as well as console games, like Playstation or X-Box. Each of these offers a number of Disney games from which to choose and parents can rest assured that their children are playing with electronic games that aren't scary, violent, or contain bad language. Disney games are synonymous with wholesome entertainment and always provide plenty of fun. You'll no doubt have no trouble finding a Disney electronic game featuring one of your favorite Disney characters.
Of course, in this age of technology, one of the best ways to play Disney games is online. Introduced just a few years ago, Disney's Toontown is the ultimate interactive online game, with multiple players from all over the world joining in the fun all at one time. Players work together to defeat evil "Toons" attempting to take over Toontown, completing lots of fun and challenging tasks along the way. A safe, well-monitored game with excellent graphics, this is Disney games at their best, and kids (and adults) can spend hours of free time enjoying Toontown. The monthly cost is reasonable, too.
Online Disney games can also be found at the Disney Channel website. This site features several dozen Disney games that correspond to your child's favorite Disney channel TV shows, including Lizzie McGuire, That's So Raven, Phil of the Future, The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, Dave the Barbarian, and many more. These online Disney games feature favorite characters from these popular shows and many require quite a bit of skill and motor coordination. Others are just plain fun!
If you are heading towards the Disney theme parks, check out the many stores there to find the latest Disney games. Stores like the Emporium in the Magic Kingdom or the World of Disney in Disney World's Downtown Disney are often among the first stores to stock new Disney games, so you'll be the envy of everyone in the neighborhood when you come home with the latest! The Disney Store, found in malls nationwide, also offers a fine selection of Disney games.
Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide
A few people have asked me about Beth Haworth's book "Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide", and were wondering what my take on it was. Given my reputation as a well known writer on the topic of Disney World, they thought I could give a fairly honest review.
So I clicked on over to Beth's website and snatched a copy for $30. I sat down and read it from "cover-to-cover" immediately.
Now keep in mind I already have extensive notes on saving money in Disney World, and I already have a pretty good list of the best hotels and restaurants. So I wasn't really sure what to expect.
But this book really impressed me.
It was well written, easy to read, and very comprehensive. The book was jam-packed with tips and inside information about places to go, things to see, the best attractions, restaurants, hotels... you name it, it's in there. It was also consistent with all of the things I already figured out from my own vacationing, and it also gave me some great new tips and tricks.
So now, I can finally give an honest recommendation for this book. I really loved it and it was worth every penny. The tips in the book allowed me to save about $550 dollars on my last weekend getaway.
You can grab a copy of Beth's Guide for only $30. It's available on her website and can be downloaded immediately. It's highly recommended for anyone who is interested in travelling to Disney. Even if you only on intend on going to Disney World once, it will not only save you time and money, it will also make your experience much more enjoyable.
Whatever you decide, be safe and most of all, enjoy your trip!
