Spend Hours of Fun Online Playing
Disney Channel Games

hese days, Disney is much more than incredible theme parks and
great movies. The Disney Channel is yet another feather in Disney's very large cap and kids love this TV station, the unique shows it airs,
and the excellent original family-oriented movies it introduces each month.
Kids can't get enough of the Disney Channel, so many fans go online to play the fun Disney Channel games they can find at the website dedicated to the shows and movies that air on that channel. Just like anything produced by Disney, these Disney Channel games are family-friendly, age-appropriate, and safe to play, creating hours of fun for kids.
The ages most attracted to these activities are older elementary-aged and middle school students, as many of the show's characters are pre-teens and young teenagers. Disney Channel games correspond with the most popular Disney Channel shows, using a variety of characters from different shows.
When you log on to the Disney Channel website and click games, you'll be taken to a choice of nearly 100 computer games that develop skill and motor coordination and are just plain fun to play. The most popular games are based on well-loved Disney Channel shows like The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, That's So Raven, Hannah Montana, Phil of the Future, The Emperor's New School, Kim Possible, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers, Lilo and Stitch: The Series, Lizzie McGuire, American Dragon Jake Long, The Proud Family, The Buzz on Maggie, Naturally Sadie, and Dave the Barbarian. There are also Disney Channel games based on Disney's original made-for-television movies and Disney's popular W.I.T.C.H. book series, designed for adolescent girls.
Disney Channel games range from easy matching games to maze-style Pac-Man-type games to those where players need to accomplish much more difficult tasks. For example, in Zack and Cody's Pizza Party Pick-up, Disney Channel game players try to throw the best pizza party by picking up snacks and ingredients without getting caught by the adults in charge. In Phil of the Future's Time Machine Rescue, kids try to fix Phil's broken down time machine by connecting parts correctly, requiring a bit more skill than some of the other games.
Girls especially love Disney Channel games such as Hannah Montana's Rock Star Fashion Challenge or Lizzie McGuire's Outfit Design. They give the female set a chance to test their fashion savvy and creating new designs is fun for girls who are into fashion. Boys might prefer Motocrossed, based on the Disney TV movie, or American Dragon - Jake Long's All-Star Skate Park. Many Disney Channel games, of course, are appropriate for either sex.
Disney Channel games change every now and then and new games are constantly being added, so your child is sure to find new challenges when visiting the website. Kids may also register with the site and submit their scores when they're finished playing each game. High scores for featured games are posted on the website each week and kids will love seeing their screen name among the high scorers!
Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide
A few people have asked me about Beth Haworth's book "Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide", and were wondering what my take on it was. Given my reputation as a well known writer on the topic of Disney World, they thought I could give a fairly honest review.
So I clicked on over to Beth's website and snatched a copy for $30. I sat down and read it from "cover-to-cover" immediately.
Now keep in mind I already have extensive notes on saving money in Disney World, and I already have a pretty good list of the best hotels and restaurants. So I wasn't really sure what to expect.
But this book really impressed me.
It was well written, easy to read, and very comprehensive. The book was jam-packed with tips and inside information about places to go, things to see, the best attractions, restaurants, hotels... you name it, it's in there. It was also consistent with all of the things I already figured out from my own vacationing, and it also gave me some great new tips and tricks.
So now, I can finally give an honest recommendation for this book. I really loved it and it was worth every penny. The tips in the book allowed me to save about $550 dollars on my last weekend getaway.
You can grab a copy of Beth's Guide for only $30. It's available on her website and can be downloaded immediately. It's highly recommended for anyone who is interested in travelling to Disney. Even if you only on intend on going to Disney World once, it will not only save you time and money, it will also make your experience much more enjoyable.
Whatever you decide, be safe and most of all, enjoy your trip!
