Discount Disney Tickets
The Easiest Ways to Find Discount
Disney Tickets

trip to Walt Disney World can be an
expensive proposition, especially for large families or for those planning an
extended stay. You'll want to be sure that you visit all four Disney parks -
the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, MGM Studios, and Animal Kingdom - as well as other
onsite attractions, yet it can be quite costly to include everything in your
stay.
Many travelers don't realize, however, that discount Disney tickets are available for their stay in the Orlando area. Many visitors, especially those who are traveling to Disney World for the first time, will purchase their park passes at the entrance gate to one of the parks, via the Disney website, or in conjunction with a package designed by the folks at Disney. That means they'll be paying full price for their park tickets.
Discount Disney tickets are a money saving opportunity for all visitors and are readily available and easy to purchase. No matter what type of ticket you're searching for - Disney World Premium Tickets, Park Hopper Tickets, Disney World Plus Tickets, or Disney World Base Tickets (with or without expiration) - you can usually find a good deal on them if you take a little extra time to do some searching. Discount Disney tickets for the onsite water parks are also available as well as options to visit Disney Quest and the Wide World of Sports complex.
There are many websites that offer discount Disney tickets, most of them reputable, and discounts vary from website to website, making it necessary to do some research before making a final purchase. Longer passes, such as a 10-day park hopper pass or those with water park options, will feature the highest dollar amount discount among the many discount Disney tickets available for purchase. Tickets valid for a shorter duration of time, like the 1- or 2-day Disney My Way base ticket, will feature only a small savings. However, most vacationers will agree that any amount of money saved is worth the time it takes to find the best discount Disney tickets.
You might wonder why ticket brokers can offer such discount Disney tickets and if their offers are legitimate. The answer lies in the volume of tickets purchased by these companies. Because they buy huge numbers of tickets directly from the attractions, brokers receive discounts that they're eager to pass on to the consumer. Most of these discount Disney ticket agencies are indeed legitimate, but those purchasing tickets are always encouraged to read the small print to avoid "hidden" charges such as tax or handling fees. Some ticket brokers offer free pick-up at local Kissimmee offices near Walt Disney World.
It's also best to remember that some Disney tickets, regardless of whether you pay full price or purchase them at a lower cost, come with stipulations. For example, they may be non-transferable, meaning that the person that uses it the first time must be the same person that uses the ticket during subsequent visits. Some discount Disney tickets are tied into a "gimmick", such as the need to sit through a timeshare presentation so, again, be sure to read the fine print.
Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide
A few people have asked me about Beth Haworth's book "Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide", and were wondering what my take on it was. Given my reputation as a well known writer on the topic of Disney World, they thought I could give a fairly honest review.
So I clicked on over to Beth's website and snatched a copy for $30. I sat down and read it from "cover-to-cover" immediately.
Now keep in mind I already have extensive notes on saving money in Disney World, and I already have a pretty good list of the best hotels and restaurants. So I wasn't really sure what to expect.
But this book really impressed me.
It was well written, easy to read, and very comprehensive. The book was jam-packed with tips and inside information about places to go, things to see, the best attractions, restaurants, hotels... you name it, it's in there. It was also consistent with all of the things I already figured out from my own vacationing, and it also gave me some great new tips and tricks.
So now, I can finally give an honest recommendation for this book. I really loved it and it was worth every penny. The tips in the book allowed me to save about $550 dollars on my last weekend getaway.
You can grab a copy of Beth's Guide for only $30. It's available on her website and can be downloaded immediately. It's highly recommended for anyone who is interested in travelling to Disney. Even if you only on intend on going to Disney World once, it will not only save you time and money, it will also make your experience much more enjoyable.
Whatever you decide, be safe and most of all, enjoy your trip!
